You never know what Aaliyah was thinking. We didn’t know her innermost thoughts. Aaliyah wasn’t crazy, and she had some ability to discern when something wasn’t right. I think Aaliyah just went along with people sometimes so that she could have a job. She wanted things to go smoothly. I think Aaliyah was outgrowing some people and things. That’s why she appeared to be climbing higher. You’ve got to grow and be around positive people and things.

I never visit much where a body lays to rest. It use to make me feel closer to the person taken away. Since I can’t visit the resting place of Aaliyah, I feel close enough in my heart.
