Whoever made the awesome cartoon animation of Aaliyah should make more. I would love to see more. It was fun watching it listening to Aaliyah’s song, Don’t Know What To Tell Ya. Check out the cartoon with some scenes of Aaliyah from different video clips.

The Making of Rock The Boat & World Premiere

YouTube

You can see Aaliyah behind the scenes making the video Rock the Boat. It looked as if she had fun at first making the video. As you keep watching, it looked as if Aaliyah didn’t look too happy making the video. I guess she was just tired and anxious to finish. Her being underwater looked like the hardest part. I bet Disney loved the part of her being underwater because she looked like a beautiful mermaid.

Aaliyah Sings the National Anthem

Aaliyah Live Video
Aaliyah performed the National Anthem in the year of 1995. Every singer has their own way of singing it, and Aaliyah had her own way. She did a beautiful job and she had a beautiful voice. You can hear Aaliyah’s strong voice in the National Anthem. Whenever I heard her sing, I always heard the soft side to her voice. There are just some songs that are meant to bring out the strong side in singing, and the National Anthem was one of those songs for Aaliyah.

Aaliyah - Giving Up (Donny Hathaway Cover) | Sparkle 2012

YouTube

It is said that Aaliyah recorded this song for the movie re-make of 'Sparkle'. Aaliyah would have played well in the movie with Whitney Houston. It seemed as if the movie was really made for Aaliyah, but I guess it wasn't meant to happen. If it was meant to happen, it would have happened. I wish that it had been in God's will for Aaliyah to stay here with us. The Lord looks ahead, and he knows what is best. Maybe it was the right time for Aaliyah to go. Maybe she was saved at the moment she left us.

Aaliyah Romeo Must Die

Aaliyah did a great job in the movie Romeo Must Die. I wish she could have done more, but she left us with a great movie and memory of her. I get a little nervous knowing that we will all have to go one day not knowing what death is really like when you are resting in the Lord. I suppose it's nothing to be afraid of. For some odd reason, I still sense Aaliyah around. I believe that it is true what people say. It is only the beginning. Life is just the beginning for those that die in the Lord. It is possible that Aaliyah see us watching her movies and listening to her music. However, I'm sure Aaliyah does not dwell on the things that we do anymore. It's probably nothing and all in the past to her if she has a brand new life. Aaliyah is on a higher level now than what we are. For us, we sit back and enjoy the movie she was in which is, "Romeo Must Die". It is all that we have left of her as we keep pressing on. Press On!

Aaliyah Super Stardom

Clip From TV One

Super Stardom is something I wonder about since Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, and Selena. We look at the part where they become rising stars, but we don't see it all. If you would look a little harder, sometimes you can see them tired and not so happy in old films. Looking at their performances and interviews, you can sometimes catch things you did not catch before as you watch them over and over again.

Sometimes I saw Aaliyah a little bit sad. People loved Aaliyah and her music. If there were times when she struggled, that is the part we do not always see. I saw Aaliyah rising slowly and getting bigger when she made the song "Try Again". I really became her fan when she was getting into the acting. I could see her super stardom happening, but her life was taken.

I feel that something is not right about all of that super stardom. People go to Hollywood with problems in life unsolved. Then when they get into the spotlight, they work so hard. When they start rising higher, it seems that more troubles come their way. Something is missing in the spotlight. The almighty God is missing most of the time. It seems that in Hollywood there is no God, and very few people seem to acknowledge him. People curse his name in real life and acting, some people are filthy rich making themselves a god, and they have the most problems. In Hollywood, if you are not strong, and if you don't know God, it can be easy to fall surrounded by things and people that are not right.

Aaliyah seemed to be basically a good person. Yes, she may have made some mistakes, but God knew what kind of person she really was. He knows that we are like children, and he knows that we need a guide. Some of us don't have a guide. God looks at all things, and he knows that some things are not our fault.

Aaliyah_The One I Gave My Heart To

From Video Aaliyah_The One I Gave My Heart To

A lot of young girls have been hurt by guys. I have heard some say that they have hurt so bad that they could just die. Aaliyah sung this song as if she actually experienced the hurt. Sometimes a bad experience is not so good for the heart. We have to be careful about the kind of people we let into our lives. If Aaliyah's in heaven, she doesn't have to hurt no more. I'm sure she has forgiven the one she gave her heart to. She can look down and see what should have been and the mistakes we're all making.

Aaliyah_Try Again and It's Meaning

Aaliyah's song, Try Again, has a lot of meaning. Some people may only hear the song and lyrics.

[Aaliyah:]
What would you do to get to me?
What would you say to have your way?
Would you give up or try again
If I hesitate to let you in?
Now would you be yourself or play your role?
Tell all the boys or keep it low?
If I say no would you turn away?
Or play me off or would you stay? Oh

(Chorus)
And if at first you don't succeed
Dust yourself off and try again
You can dust it off and try again
Try again
'Cause if at first you don't succeed
You can dust it off and try again
Dust yourself off and try again
Try again

The words "Try Again" is saying many things to different people in different situations. Some try again in marriage. They took the vows untrue. Some try again in school because droppin' out ain’t cool. Some try again to hit the lottery, yet, many bills are due. Some try again to love. Hate's an evil choice to choose.
There's nothing wrong with trying again. Try again until you succeed.

Aaliyah Reminding Us of the Music of Yesterday

Where has all of the good old music gone? Even Aaliyah must have thought the same thing remembering and performing Marvin Gaye's, Give It Up. In her video, you can see her having visions of Marvin Gaye dancing on stage with her. Aaliyah has left me with a memory. She reminds me to never forget the good old music. The old songs truly told us about ourselves. The old songs told us about the ups and downs, things we were going through, and were sometimes the answers to our problems. As a matter of fact, when ever we felt like dancing, the old music made us boogie, laugh, and have a good time. The music of yesterday caused crowed streets and maybe even sometimes riots. Whenever you see people performing today, the audience seems dead. They hardly move. A young person may not understand or admit that the old music is the best music. It looks as if Aaliyah did. As we see Aaliyah performing Marvin Gaye's oldie, she seems to remind us of the music of yesterday.
