Aaliyah’s Low Key Singing

I liked the fact that Aaliyah could sing in low key. During the time she was singing, I didn’t hear many women singing deep. They would always hit the high notes and do a lot of loud exclamatory singing. Aaliyah’s low key singing wasn’t bad to me. I thought it was pretty good for a young female. She wasn’t like all the rest. She was different. When you are not like everybody else, people are not use to that. They either have questions about it or down you out. Aaliyah may have inspired some other girls to try their low key. I have always tried mine before I heard Aaliyah, and I was delighted to hear Aaliyah put low key notes into her singing.

They try to say Aaliyah couldn’t sing live and that she was terrible. Considering some other singers that I’ve heard, I can say Aaliyah has done well singing live. There was a time I have heard Aaliyah sing live when she could hardly be heard because the music was just too loud over her. It’s how things are done. But some folks can’t see beyond that.

I could tell that Aaliyah could sing. Aaliyah was a singer. And if she would have been taught the way Whitney Houston was taught, you would have heard everything that was in Aaliyah. Not many people had the training Whitney had. That made Whitney above them all although they would sometimes put her down too. But Whitney also knew that Aaliyah was a singer or else she never would have wanted her for her movie. Think about that.

….. There are a lot of worlds you know, and Whitney Houston was in the entertainment world. A world all to itself, and so was Aaliyah. And in that world, sometimes things seemed dark. Whitney and Aaliyah both had their own problems in that world. Like Whitney, Aaliyah was climbing high because she was going to become Whitney’s Sparkle. And Whitney was the voice. The best selling music artist of all time. Well, Aaliyah didn’t make it to star in Whitney’s movie, Sparkle. But Aaliyah did make it to the music & movie world. And so did Whitney. …

Aaliyah, Whitney, & Biggie Remix

This remix sounds as if Aaliyah, Whitney, and Biggie really made a song together. Their music mixed sounds like one song. They all sound great together.

The Guys Around Aaliyah

It’s not hard to see that Aaliyah knew a lot of guys. I have no earthly idea who Aaliyah was as a person. It is said she was a very bright girl in school. She looked very brave to me and not shy. When I see Aaliyah in pictures with P Diddy, Damon Dash, and Jay Z, I know one of the reasons is because she was in the music business. However when it’s music business, it’s hard to know what’s really going on when you’re not in the business.

Aaliyah was around some rich guys, but I don’t know if they were as rich when she was around them back then. It looked as if Aaliyah knew exactly who to do business with. Then there was Missy Elliot and Timbaland. Aaliyah  knew Janet Jackson and was about to do a movie with Whitney Houston. Aaliyah was getting up there pretty high. I don’t understand why she’s gone.

On the Whitney Soul Podcast, today’s topic is Aaliyah. Be of good cheer. According to the good book, they’ll be resurrection & she’ll rise again.

 No journey to the past
There will be tomorrow
 Not yesterday (Get up)
 Like a pilot
She’s coming our way
Coming back to stay

Whitney Houston was an Aaliyah fan. She said she loved her voice and thought her songs were great for the new breed of music that came in. Whitney said Aaliyah was perfect for Sparkle and that she wanted it and prepared for it. But Aaliyah had a tragic end. It made Whitney very sad. …

Aaliyah - Giving Up (Donny Hathaway Cover) | Sparkle 2012

YouTube

It is said that Aaliyah recorded this song for the movie re-make of 'Sparkle'. Aaliyah would have played well in the movie with Whitney Houston. It seemed as if the movie was really made for Aaliyah, but I guess it wasn't meant to happen. If it was meant to happen, it would have happened. I wish that it had been in God's will for Aaliyah to stay here with us. The Lord looks ahead, and he knows what is best. Maybe it was the right time for Aaliyah to go. Maybe she was saved at the moment she left us.

Aaliyah Interview on Sparkle

Here is an interview of Aaliyah on Sparkle. I can't forget Aaliyah, and I don't think Whitney could either. When I see the movie, Aaliyah is going to be somewhere in my mind I know. See the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DoN6h8Jd7lI

Aaliyah on Whitney Houston

I'm wondering did Aaliyah ever meet Whitney Houston. Whitney would have been a great sister to Aaliyah. I am sure of it. We need one another.

Whitney Houston Talks About Aaliyah & the Movie Sparkle

From YouTube
Whitney Houston talks about Aaliyah and the upcoming movie Sparkle. Whitney was hurt when she heard about Aaliyah's death and was looking forward to doing the movie with Aaliyah. There are interruptions in this old life on earth.
