 My favorite photo of Damon and Aaliyah is when they were all dressed up in black. They looked real nice together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in 2001.

Dame Dash SITS DOWN With FEDS

The headlines say Dame Dash sits down with FEDS. Did he really do that? It's good if he did. He doesn’t look too good. He looks worried and his whole conversation has been Aaliyah - his girl. It’s bothering him knowing that there might have been more to Aaliyah’s death. It’s bothering me as a fan. 

It seems like to me people are telling a new story. It was just R Kelly before that was involved with Aaliyah and now they are saying Jay Z as well and Diddy. I also heard that Aaliyah had a diary. There are things that Aaliyah may have left behind that could help get to the truth. We don’t know if all that we see and hear is the truth. It’s been he said - she said. I hope somebody will get to the bottom of things.

Damon’s Love For Aaliyah

 

For a time, I was unaware of Damon Dash until Aaliyah's passing. His name kept coming up, and eventually, I saw a picture of him and thought, “So that’s who Damon Dash is.” At first, I didn’t realize he had a relationship with Aaliyah, and I was just starting to learn about her right before she died. Honestly, I was out of the loop about these people, which was unusual for me; I used to be able to recall every Hollywood star and their names. When Aaliyah entered the music scene, my interest in singers had waned, and I sensed changes in musical styles. I also felt my mom drifting away, as she was the reason I loved real music. We both loved watching Jet Li films, and a friend told me about Aaliyah. I wanted to learn more about her

After Aaliyah's death, I was bombarded with various news and gossip about her and her family.  Now, I don’t feel the need to learn more about her because it’s often sad stories. I hear the same things repeatedly. I wish I could have met Aaliyah and got

to know her personally.

It’s heartening to know that Aaliyah was in a relationship. It’s nice to find something positive amidst the sadness. Aaliyah seemed genuinely happy with Damon Dash, and I’m glad she found someone who could bring out her laughter and beautiful smile.

 

Damon appeared to genuinely love Aaliyah. He didn't seem like the smiling type until I saw him with her. There were moments when they looked amazing together all dressed up. They made a beautiful couple, even when they were just spending time together casually.

Aaliyah’s Hood Image

 To me, there was two sides to Aaliyah. Yes, she went to a performing arts school, she toured with Gladys Knight as a child. But in the music business, sometimes she seemed totally different. How do I know? I watch not only the videos, but I look at her pictures just like you do. Look carefully. When Aaliyah was in school and around her friends, she was so bubbly. She was talkative, and she didn’t seem shy one bit. She was playful. Sometimes even backstage during a concert. I think it all depended on who she was around. However, when she was in the studio around certain ones, she seemed quiet and serious. Aaliyah kept the hair down over her eyes or she was wearing shades. Her world seemed a little dark. And all those things she said about the dark side, I didn’t believe any of it. 😏 But I don’t really know what was in her soul. It’s hard to tell about a famous person sometimes.

Damon Dash, Aaliyah’s boyfriend talked about Aaliyah’s hood image. To him, she seemed different than her hood image. Maybe the hood image was just a fashion, and it didn’t define who she was at all.

Dame Dash Was Warned

 I’ve been seeing videos explaining why Damon Dash appeared in R Kelly’s Fiesta Video. Aaliyah told him not to be in any scenes with him or pictures. Aaliyah must have known the trouble that is happening that we see happening today. She was probably way ahead of us on things. Especially if she was guided by the LORD to warn Damon Dash.

 The Case Needs To Be Reopened 

According to Jaguar Wright, someone made a phone call to Aaliyah that Damon Dash was about to die in Miami. But Damon wasn’t even in Miami. It sounded as if the caller could have had some bad intentions for both of them. Maybe the caller really thought that Damon was in Miami. If there’s any truth to Jaguar Wright’s story, yes, the case needs to be reopened because it might not be over yet. Some other folks lives still might be in danger. We don’t know everything that happened.
