Aaliyah’s Low Key Singing

 I liked the fact that Aaliyah could sing in low key. During the time she was singing, I didn’t hear many women singing deep. They would always hit the high notes and do a lot of loud exclamatory singing. Aaliyah’s low key singing wasn’t bad to me. I thought it was pretty good for a young female. She wasn’t like all the rest. She was different. When you are not like everybody else, people are not use to that. They either have questions about it or down you out. Aaliyah may have inspired some other girls to try their low key. I have always tried mine before I heard Aaliyah, and I was delighted to hear Aaliyah put low key notes into her singing.

They try to say Aaliyah couldn’t sing live and that she was terrible. Considering some other singers that I’ve heard, I can say Aaliyah has done well singing live. There was a time I have heard Aaliyah sing live when she could hardly be heard because the music was just too loud over her. It’s how things are done. But some folks can’t see beyond that. 

I could tell that Aaliyah could sing. Aaliyah was a singer. And if she would have been taught the way Whitney Houston was taught, you would have heard everything that was in Aaliyah. Not many people had the training Whitney had. That made Whitney above them all although they would sometimes put her down too. But Whitney also knew that Aaliyah was a singer or else she never would have wanted her for her movie. Think about that.
