Detroit makes me think of Aaliyah. When she was five years old, her family moved to Detroit, Michigan, where she was raised. She had talent. I’m sure there is more talent in Detroit. It is the place where Motown was born. I wish I could bring Aaliyah back. I can see how she could have done so much more. Aaliyah was a leader. That’s how I think of her. And when I see these kids in this music video “One Nation Under A Groove,” Aaliyah had that groove with so many fans still loving her.
