Sean "Diddy" Combs was sentenced to 50 months (4+ years) in 2025 for convictions on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution, having been acquitted of more severe charges like racketeering and sex trafficking. R. Kelly received a much longer sentence (30+ years) after convictions on racketeering and sex trafficking, which involved a systemic, long-term pattern of abusing minors.
I don’t understand what the difference is. They both are charged for terrible crimes. So why does Diddy only get 4 yrs. when they gave R Kelly 30 yrs. They have both been accused of racketeering. There should be no lesser charges. Racketeering is racketeering. Sex trafficking is sex trafficking. There should have been none whatsoever. I don’t understand the judgement.
