It was shortly after Aaliyah's passing that I spotted more of her family on a local news station. They might have been relatives from her mother's side, but I’m not certain. They appeared to be the kind of family that resided in the countryside. I realize that I will likely never see that news segment about her family broadcasted on TV again as a rerun, and I would love to watch it once more. Hearing them talk about Aaliyah was really touching, especially knowing she was no longer with us. Seeing Aaliyah’s family members reminds me of my family members. I often wonder if we are related.
