Aaliyah Needed to be Free

 She Was Almost There

Aaliyah needed to be free to do things the way she needed to do things without everybody being the boss or someone trying to control her life. It looks like to me, there might have been too many people running things in her career. Aaliyah needed to be the boss of her career without arguments, but there may have been some things she needed help with.

Someone needed to take an interest in Aaliyah. Whitney Houston must have seen that. She wanted Aaliyah for the movie “Sparkle”. And Whitney knew she could sing. Whitney didn’t want to get involved with Aaliyah for nothing. Aaliyah probably could do a lot of things she probably didn’t know she could do. Her voice was maturing, and she was maturing. Aaliyah was turning into a young woman. She wasn’t that little 14 or 15 year old girl anymore. I’m sure her feelings were changing about her life. She wasn’t going to be that little girl forever. Aaliyah didn’t need people controlling her and telling her everything to do. She was a brilliant young woman. At least that is what has been told.

If Aaliyah was doing a lot and needed time out, she should have been entitled to do so. She should have been able to take things slow. If you work 24 hours and 7 days a week, somewhere your body will break down. I don’t know if Aaliyah had weekends off or not. But concerts and tours and being on the road all of the time I know for certain is no joke. Then she was doing movies too. Aaliyah needed time to relax. From a little girl she was singing.

How does a blessing turn into a curse?

Aaliyah was being blessed, and then all over a sudden things changed. It makes no sense. Death came and interrupted. How does a blessing turn into a curse? It can happen by having the wrong people in your life and nobody being there for you. That’s how. Get people out of your prayer life including family because it’s true that family can also be your worst enemy. The Bible states that. I think we all have some family enemies.

Psalm 110:1-4 110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Luke 12:53 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
