The tunnel was a hip-hop nightclub in New York City from 1994 to 2001. Aaliyah was raised in Detroit, but she was born a New York City girl. I don't know how she performed at the tunnel with all the stuff that was going on there, but she did it. When Aaliyah performed there with Timbaland, the crowd bounced. She performed her hit Are You That Somebody. From the video clip that I saw of her, I didn't see any trouble…..
