Love for Aaliyah Is Not Buying Her Records

 

You could have bought all the Aaliyah’s records in the world. That’s just being a fan.  It might would have given her money, it might would have helped her survive, it might not would have been enough still, and it is not the same thing as love. What about love for her as a human being? She could have been filthy rich without no love in the world at all.

I wish to God I could call Aaliyah right now and say, “Aaliyah how are you doing? How is life treating you? Can I help you with something? Do you need someone to talk to? Call me any time. Let’s go out & eat. I’ll pay for it this time.”

As far as buying her records, no, I did not buy her records when she was with R Kelly to be frank. I was outgrowing hip hop and the style of music Aaliyah was into at that time. I was tired of hearing the men singers whine and moan. I was tired of the half naked women in videos. I myself was changing. But I did grow to like R Kelly some and Aaliyah on the last end when Aaliyah’s style changed with Missy Elliot and Timberland. She was growing up too. 

I just want to say that Aaliyah do have some fans in the world that does care for her. She became apart of them. Some fans might have been babies when she was a teenager. There are people still upset about what could have happened to her. Look how long she has been gone. Aaliyah has got fans that do have some kind of care.❤️❤️❤️
