It is said that black is Aaliyah's favorite color. Black is said to represent a strong-willed and determined character, someone who is not afraid to go after what they want and usually seeking power and prestige. Aaliyah seemed kind of that way. I heard her once say: Don't get in my way." She really wanted to make it and seemed quite serious sometimes in her talk.

 Considering how Aaliyah had to be in the music business, I'm sure that there were times she probably had to fight and be tough. There are people that just don't want you to make it. I believe it was good that Aaliyah was the personality of her favorite color. She kept right on thriving, and she was getting there too. Before Aaliyah's career was cut short, she became known and had some success. Many of us cannot even get a foot into the door. The higher we get, the more things we have to tackle to make it to the top. Sometimes it seems as if the enemy tries to fight us even harder. Aaliyah is resting now, but she'll be back hopefully one day soon. It's never goodbye forever.

⚫️ Note: Black also has biblical meaning. Black is the darkest color in the Bible. In the book of Revelation, it represents the dark things. Rev. 6:5 and Rev. 6:12 are examples. In dreams, black can mean death, sickness, or evil.
