Damon Dash is right that we need to do our own thing. Our own music, network, and education. We got to do it on our own and stick together and teach each other. Damon says he’s not a business man, but you might learn more from him than a business man. Damon said they want us to be customers and we know that ourselves. I think that’s why we struggle. But Damon said the whole economy is based on black culture and they don’t want to be our customers. Everything bought is based on something we did but we don’t control it. They profit off what we do.
