Aaliyah Haughton by IK90

Aaliyah Haughton . by ~IK90 on deviantART This art of Aaliyah really captured my eye. I believe that she is watching from above. Why does that sound so impossible to man? He's too busy thinking about the grave and cannot see God's power and might. God is beyond the grave and so are the dead in Christ. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). What God has put inside of our bodies to make us live never dies. I do not speak of the heart and the lungs. I am not talking about the physical body. I am talking about the spiritual. God blew breath in us and we are living souls. That will never die. What was made of mud and clay will die and that is our physical body.

Why is it so hard for man to believe that God can raise up the dead and use them again? It is not impossible. Those that read the great wonders and miracles of the Bible know that this is true. God has done all sorts of things in the Bible. He is the creator of those that died. God can do what he wants to do when he gets ready. Have you ever heard of the Bible story of  Ezekiel about the dry bones (Ezekiel 37)? We need to stop underestimating God. Also, he does not think like we think. That's why we don't understand him and his written word. Once you learn him, you begin to know him. When you begin to know him, you begin to love him. When you begin to love him, you begin to feel him. It may be possible to feel your loved one right beside him. Get closer to God and start believing. When you start believing, you start receiving. If Aaliyah is dead in Christ, it is not over. Her life is just beginning.
