Aaliyah and Whitney both had the ability to reach impressive high notes. It would have been wonderful to see them collaborate. However, I haven’t heard anyone sing high notes with as much power as Whitney. Aaliyah had her own unique approach that allowed her to replicate some of what Whitney did, though her singing wasn't as forceful. You could still catch some similarities in certain notes. It's important to look beyond a singer's limitations, as they may simply need more training to reach their full potential. Aaliyah certainly had the inherent talent.
