Aaliyah’s Career Was Growing Bigger

We didn’t get to see more of Aaliyah. We all know her life was cut short. We all know that her career was growing. She could sing, act, she could host on MTV, she could dance, she was into clothing fashion, and she was becoming her own woman. If she wasn’t, she most certainly had enough knowledge to do so.

She was moving in the right direction in meeting higher people in her career. She could have easily worked with Quincy Jones and her aunt Gladys Knight. She had spoken with Janet Jackson and wanted to collaborate with her. Aaliyah was on her way to meeting Whitney Houston for the movie Sparkle.

Her uncle was Barry Hankerson. Some people didn’t or maybe don’t like him, but I must include him. He is the founder of Blackground Records, and is a producer. That’s all I know about him. He made some mistakes maybe, and God does forgive our mistakes. If or when something is deliberately done, we are allowed to repent. Mr. Barry Hankerson was a big part of Aaliyah’s career because he was both her uncle and producer.

As far as connections, it looked as if Aaliyah was on her way to a bigger career. It made no sense how she just died so tragically. Every time I think about it, God lets me know that he’s a sovereign God. That means that he has the highest authority. If he wasn’t ready for Aaliyah to die, who knows what is on his mind? God made man, made life, and made death. There is nothing too hard for him.

If Aaliyah could come back, The good LORD would put better people in her life and bigger and better things. He doesn’t leave things undone. He gives us all that we need, and no man can take it.
